What does it mean to park a domain name?

When you park a domain name you are reserving your registered domain until you have got your website created, obtained hosting. When you park your domain, a temporary web page is displayed whenever somebody types your domain name into their browser.

What is your payment policy

We require a deposit of 30% of the price quoted to you to commence the design, with the balance to be paid within 30 days of the sign off date. If you require we will consider taking payments in installments.

What is your approval policy

As the design progresses we will provide you with opertunities to view the work in progress and ask you to carefully check over the content to ensure there are no errors or omissions.

What is your policy regarding using other images, text, etc. that don't belong to me?

We abide by UK Copyright law in all matters, and will not knowingly use graphics, photos, or text that are protected by copyright this is nonnegotiable. By submitting content to us

What is a sub domain?

A sub domain allows you to create separate web addresses from just one domain, for example www.shop.com could have www.shoe.shop.com as a sub domain.

How do you determine how much you'll charge?

There are many factors taken into consideration when we are estimating the cost of your website, the number of pages, the features required, the complexity, and the time frame being the most influential

How long does it take for my website to be completed?

The timescale of a project varies from client to client and is generally dictated by the size and complexity of the project. We always aim to have the project completed as quickly as circumstances permit, and within a timeframe that is suitable to you, through past experience we have found the most common delay in the project is waiting for content and or images for the web pages to be sent to us from the client.

I would like you to design my site, what do I need to do?

It is simply a mater of filling out the Request a Quote form, once we receive it we will send you an email which will contain all the details that you need to get your website design underway.

What is ftp?

Ftp (File transfer protocol) is the method of transferring web pages from your pc to your web server which is done using ftp software. When a hosting package is purchased you are give your ftp details which consist of a host name, user ID and password. If we obtain a hosting package on your behalf we will pass on these details to you at the project is signed off.

What after sales support do you provide?

We offer a wide range of after sales support which starts with 4 weeks after sign off, during which we will make any minor changes you or we feel necessary to improve your website. After that period you have the option of taking of one of our support packages, however if you simply need a few changes at various times we will be happy to discuss this as needed.

Will we need to have a meeting?

No it is not necessary to have a meeting we generally can complete your site via email and telephone, however if you would prefer to have a meeting this can be arranged.

Can I use my own web hosting?

Yes, if you have a hosting package we can use it to host your website, however you will have to be able to pass on your ftp details to us. Please bear in mind that some features we offer, may not be possible to include in your website due to limitations of your current host.

What rights do you reserve for yourselves?

We reserve the right to show any and all work we do in our portfolio, either digitally or in print. We also reserve the right to enter a client's website in any design competitions, unless doing so would create a conflict of interest for our client. If we do choose to enter a client's website in such a competition(s), we will contact the client beforehand, and also notify them if the entry should win any awards.

What does it mean to sign off the project?

When your website has been transferred to your host and both parties are satisfied with the live site and the final payment has be received by us we will sign off the project, which means we pass on your ftp details and a copy of the project on CD rom to you. You now are responsible for the site, unless site maintained has been arranged.
